VIRTUAL VISITS

We’re here when you need us, in-person and virtually, with PediaTrust Immediate Care virtual visits, and scheduled virtual visits available at all our offices. Virtual visits allow you to see a doctor, registered dietitian, or mental and behavioral health specialist from the comfort of your own home, and are ideal if you are on vacation or your child is away at college.

To Join a Scheduled Virtual Visit

1. At least fifteen minutes before your video visit appointment, log in to your MyChart account on your computer or the MyChart app on your mobile device and tap the Appointments icon on the home screen.

2. Your scheduled video visit appears in this list. Tap it to open the details.

3. Tap eCheck-In to complete the necessary steps before beginning your visit.

4. After you’ve completed eCheck-In, tap Begin Visit to ensure you’re able to connect.

5. If prompted, allow your browser to access your device’s microphone and camera. Then, complete a hardware test to ensure your device camera, microphone, and speakers are working. Click Join Call.

6. If the connection is successful, you’ll be placed in a virtual waiting room. Your doctor will be with you shortly!

To schedule a virtual visit, simply log into your MyChart account, or call your pediatrician's office!

How Much is a Virtual Visit?

Ask your insurance company if your plan covers virtual visits. We bill for telemedicine visits, telephone consultations, and MyChart secure messaging encounters in accordance with insurance guidelines. Your usual copay, coinsurance, and deductible may be applied, depending on your insurance plan. Check with your insurance provider for details.
