Important Policies
Our goal at PediaTrust is to be your trusted partner for the health of your child. As part of establishing and maintaining that trust, we ask that parents and caregivers read, understand and agree to our important policies as part of our agreement to provide care.
Financial Responsibility
PediaTrust seeks to be transparent with our patients and families concerning payment for our services. Please click here to read our complete financial policy.
It is essential that you enroll newborn infants with your insurance carrier as soon as possible. If your child is not enrolled, they will not be covered under your policy. If you fail to do this within 30 days following the birth of your child, we will bill you directly for the services provided and charge your credit/debit/HSA/FSA through our autopay system.
Missed, Late and Walk-In Appointments
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits.
If you are late, we will try to work you back into the schedule or we may offer an appointment to you with another provider. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Divorced Parents
The parent who is the guarantor for the patient is responsible to PediaTrust for payment of services rendered. Although a divorce decree may state that an ex-spouse/partner is responsible for medical bills, PediaTrust, LLC has no authority to enforce compliance nor will we act as a mediator between the parties.
Privacy
At our pediatric practices, your child’s privacy is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This federal law ensures that your family’s medical information is kept confidential and securely stored. We are committed to safeguarding your child’s health records and only sharing information when it is legally permitted and necessary for care.
