Born and raised in Chicagoland, Dr. Mukherjee is proud to be able to take care of so many children in her community. Over the years, she’s found that pediatrics is the best way to combine her love of science with her desire to work with and help kids grow up to be happy, healthy adults!

When she’s not looking after patients, Dr. Mukherjee takes pride in being able to balance her home and work life. She, her husband, and her son enjoy going on walks and attending live music events. Dr. Mukherjee also enjoys musical theater! She’s an active member of the Bengali Association of Greater Chicago, and volunteers at her son’s school.
Dr. Mukherjee received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her pediatrics residency training at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital, and is a board-certified pediatrician.

I played violin for about 20 years!

Watching British period dramas.
