Our Doctors
One of the reasons Dr. Minster’s patients love seeing him is that he is a grown-up version of themselves: a true kid at heart, Dr. Minster grew up in Lake Forest and currently lives in the area. His expertise as a pediatrician, in addition to his sense of humor and playfulness, help make him very popular with the parents and the patients.

Dr. Minster is a very busy pediatrician. He currently is a PediaTrust board member and also serves as the medical director of the After-hours Care Center. He is a Clinical Instructor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Minster has two college-aged kids. In his limited spare time, he enjoys music, record collecting, going to concerts, travel, trying new restaurants, and street festivals in Chicago (or anywhere!).
Dr. Minster earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University, and his MD from the University of Chicago. He completed his residency at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital, and was named Resident of the Year at La Rabida Children’s Hospital in 2001.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I'm not really bald, I just style my hair this way.
What was your favorite book growing up?
I didn't discover Harry Potter until book 3 and had just graduated medical school. Still a huge fan of the series and everything related.
What is your comfort food?
Fried chicken, sushi, or pasta. And also fried chicken.
What is your favorite movie?
It’s a five way tie: Contact, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Silence of the Lambs, Spinal Tap, and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.
