Our Doctors

Melissa Solomon

Melissa’s a local, having grown up on the North Shore, and graduated from New Trier High School. After heading off to Pennsylvania for her training, she joined Elm Street Pediatrics in 2014, and we’re glad she did!

"What I love most about my job is having the privilege to watch children grow, and working closely with their parents."

Melissa has a passion for educating families and practicing preventative medicine. When she’s not at work, she enjoys running, yoga, reading, sculpting, and even more running after her two active little boys.

Melissa completed both her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, before going on to complete a nurse residency program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
