Our Doctors

Margaret Stefani

An aspiring guitarist, Dr. Stefani has been serving the patients of Pediatric Associates of Barrington since 2009! Dr. Stefani combines her desire to improve her community with her love of both the art and science of medicine to care for her patients.

"Getting to work with children and their families is definitely the best part of my job. We work together to navigate some of life’s most rewarding and also most challenging moments. It is so gratifying!"

Dr. Stefani loves caring for children of all ages, and has a special interest in working with new parents as they face the exciting (and sometimes scary) experience of getting to know their new babies! She enjoys taking extra time to work with new moms as they encounter issues related to breastfeeding.

Dr. Stefani’s community efforts include launching the Bike Lids 4 Safe Kids program in 2016. She and her team partner with their local police departments to encourage kids to wear helmets on their bikes and scooters through encouragement and rewards.

Outside of work, Dr. Stefani loves spending time with her family and friends, including her two children and hound mix (named Georgia). She enjoys baking, working on projects around the house, and guitar lessons!

Dr. Stefani graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College with her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, and received her medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Loyola University, is a board-certified pediatrician, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
