Dr. Zainulbhai is like many of the parents who bring their children to Hinsdale Pediatrics: she lives in Hinsdale with her family, so you might see her around town. She enjoys working and living in the same community.

What do you love most about your job?

"I love that I get to work with parents and children! It is a pleasure to get to know families over time and keep kids healthy and safe through proper preventive care and anticipatory guidance."

Some of Dr. Zainulbhai’s professional interests include breastfeeding and newborn/infant care, preventive medicine, asthma/allergy care, and integrative medicine.

Do you have any nicknames?

"In clinic, I am known as “Dr. Z."

Dr. Z has many outside interests and hobbies, including running long distances, rock climbing, hiking, cooking, reading, traveling internationally, and doing all of that with her kids.

Why did you choose to go into pediatrics?

"I chose to go into pediatrics because of the patients. Kids are honest, hilarious, resilient, and full of potential. Nothing makes me happier than working as a team with parents to help their children lead a healthy and successful life."

Dr. Zainulbhai received her bachelor's from Northwestern University, then completed medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her pediatric residency at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn.
