Dr. Khan received her undergraduate degree from University of Cincinnati. She went on to attend St. George's University for her medical degree, completing her residency at Loyola University Medical Center. 

"Although I enjoy all aspects of pediatrics, I am especially interested in newborn medicine and breastfeeding medicine!"

What do you love most about your job?

Helping parents become more confident in caring for their children! Also love seeing cute babies grow up into cute kids!

Tell us about your family life (including pets!)

I have a wonderful husband, Ali, and a sweet son, Idris.

What are you the most proud of?

My family! Having a baby during residency was not easy, but I’m so proud of the way my husband and I stepped up and so proud of the little person my son is becoming!

What is your comfort food?

My mom’s homemade mac and cheese!

Have you participated in any charity work/giving back to the community?

Yes! My husband is the founder and CEO of a local charity, Humanity Relief, that resettles domestic violence and trafficking victims and refugees and also does homeless distributions around Chicagoland. I help him out whenever I get some free time!
