Rilina Ghosh

Full of energy, Dr. Ghosh is beloved by her patients for her enthusiasm and ability to connect with patients of all ages. Her love of children and pediatrics

shows at each visit.

"I love seeing children every day as they have amazing spirits and resilience! It is a privilege to empower parents to trust their own abilities and appreciate their children for who they are. I love that I have the opportunity to partner with parents throughout their journey through parenthood."

Dr. Ghosh is particularly adept at discussing development and behavioral issues, sibling rivalry and family dynamics. In addition, she also is interested in the mind-body connection, mental health, and mindfulness.

"I love working with parents and children. I appreciate the partnership of teaching parents about their children, and, in turn, teaching children about their physical and mental health. Education is a cornerstone of pediatrics. However, it is important that parents get their information from reliable sources. That is why it is so important that parents choose a pediatrician they can trust.”

Dr. Ghosh is married with a young adult daughter and a teenage son, and has a rambunctious goldendoodle at home. She is very involved in her community, giving talks at the local library, precepting medical students at Chicago Medical School, and volunteering at the pediatric interprofessional community clinic at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Ghosh won the Volunteer of the Year Award for District 103 PTO, the Dawn Anderson Volunteer Angel Award for District 103 PTO, the CMS Outstanding Faculty Community Service Award and the Teacher of the Year Award when she worked at the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Ghosh grew up on the East Coast and received her undergraduate degree from Boston University, and her MD from Rutgers University - the New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital of Cleveland, OH. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rosalind Franklin University.
