Joining PediaTrust as our second Pediatric Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Giulia believes that nutrition is incredibly vital! However, in this day and age, it is often misunderstood. She loves working with kids and their families providing evidence based nutrition information as well as help in coming up with ways to live a healthy lifestyle while still enjoying the foods they love!

Giulia earned her Master's degree at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. With an emphasis on Clinical Nutrition, she found her passion for working with the Pediatric/NICU population. She went on to work as a Clinical Pediatric and NICU dietitian at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates since 2020. Giulia obtained her board certification in Nutrition Support, allowing her to enjoy her passion of working with complex children who are on tube feedings and/or IV nutrition.

"I enjoy the challenge of working with slow weight gain and coming up with interventions to acheive optimal growth! I am also comfortable working with children with a variety of nutritional challenges, including Diabetes, GI disorders, Weight Management, Infant formula intolerance, and Tube feedings."

Giulia has a new born! She enjoys spending her off days with her son and 90lbs German Sheperd, named Dino. It's been a journey for her to navigate being a new Mom, but she feels that it is making her a better clinician when providing counseling to all of her patients and their families!
